PALLS = Palliative Service
PALLS offers a specialised nursing service caring for adults in their own home.
Our service area covers Hampshire / Surrey / West Sussex borders - coverage map.
We care for patients with advanced and deteriorating illness towards the end of life in their own homes. We are able to reduce carer fatigue and prevent admission into hospital.
PALLS nurses can create a special environment for those who wish to die at home.
We offer the following services:
- Personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Respite and support for relatives and carers
- Emotional support
- Introducing complimentary therapies
- Psychosocial support
- Regular review of needs
- Continuity of care
We will be liaising with district and community nurses, GP's and consultants who will be our means to provide:
- Sympton control
- Disease management
- Pain management
- Bereavement counselling
- Advice on living wills
The PALLS team focuses on quality of life and a whole person approach, we offer care that encompasses both the person with the life threatening illness and those that matter to that person.
 Our definition of Palliative Care applies to all disease processes addressing all life limiting illnesses with an 'active' holistic approach to patients with advanced progressive illness.
